Members of the Liberty Fire Company #4 gave back to the community Friday afternoon, doing a fire prevention presentation for the Schuylkill Mountain Center NHS Human Services STAP at Stoyer’s Dam. STAP is a summer program for kids with autism. Engineer Leroy Boyer gave a fire prevention talk to the 15 kids, roughly eight staff members and their parents in attendance before members of the Liberty gave the campers a tour of Engine 737 and let them hold a charged hand line. The NHS campers each received a plastic fire helmet and had their photo taken in front of Engine 737.
