Welcome To The Schuylkill Haven Fire Department
Schuylkill Haven is located in the southern tier of Schuylkill County. As a department Schuylkill Haven Fire covers an area of roughly twenty-five square miles and a population of around 6,200 residents. The Schuylkill Haven Fire Department is composed of three companies; Rainbow Hose Station 1, Schuylkill Hose Station 2, Liberty Fire Station 4.
The SHFD currently has three borough chiefs, each representing their respective companies; Borough Chief-Robert "Boat" Peel, First Assistant-Glenn Sattizahn, Second Assistant-Mike Donatti. At this time as a department we run 3 Engines, 1 Ladder, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Haz-Mat, 1 Tanker, 3 Squads, and 4 Water Rescue Boats.

November 9th, 2009- Wagon 736 May Be A Heck of a Christmas Present for the “4 House” **Recent Pics Added**
On Monday November 9th, 3 members from the Liberty Fire Co. #4 traveled to “E-ville” to the Swab Wagon Company to receive updates on our 1980 CF Mack that is currently being refurbed. After walking around the truck numerous times and looking at the work that was already done to the Wagon, it was encouraged my Tony Margerum, (Swab president) that we re-paint the whole discussion with each other and contacting the appropriate people, it was decided to go ahead and re-paint the Wagon....
